Movin' on up
Yes, we are literally "movin' on up". We just found out today that we'll be PCSing up north to Scott AFB in Illinois this July! We are very excited to experience something new :). Scott AFB is located in southwestern Illinois and is about 5 hours away from Chicago and 40 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. Vegas has been good to us, but we are ready for a more "family oriented" town. One thing I'm looking forward to is the fact that IL has four seasons! And oh, how can I forget trees? ;) Can't wait!

ReplyDeleteCongrats! I was so excited for 4 seasons when we moved to Virginia, but now I'm over it haha. The scenery will always be beautiful, but I think I've realized I hate the cold weather. Good luck! I can't believe you guys are moving so soon already.
ReplyDeleteThank you guys! Sam, I know the cold is hard (especially up North where it snows)...but honestly, when you live in the desert where the summers are excruciating, I'll take snow any day. Actually, I just wish it would stay spring forever haha.

ReplyDeleteCongrats! Let us know you like it over in the Midwest. We were suppose to PCS to Grand Forks AFB, ND back in February, but it was cancelled!
